How to Use Venmo to Pay @CapCityCC

First-Time Venmo Users (no account yet):

  1. Download the Venmo app (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  2. Open the app and tap Sign Up.
  3. Enter your name, email, and phone number. Create a secure password.
  4. Choose a profile picture (optional, helps friends recognize you).
  5. Link a payment method: Bank account (recommended), Debit card, or Credit card (fees may apply).
  6. Once setup is complete, tap the QR Code button in Venmo, or search for @CapCityCC.
  7. Enter the amount and tap Pay.

If You Already Have Venmo

  1. Open the Venmo app (or scan the QR Code).
  2. Tap the search bar at the top.
  3. Type @CapCityCC (or scan the QR code).
  4. Tap Pay or Request.
  5. Enter the amount.
  6. Add a note (e.g., Car Show Donation, Membership).
  7. Tap Pay and confirm.

If You Only Have a Credit Card

  1. Download the Venmo app and create an account (steps above).
  2. When adding a payment method, choose Credit or Debit Card.
  3. Enter your card information. Note: Venmo may charge ~3% fee for credit card payments.
  4. Find @CapCityCC by scanning the QR code or searching in the app.
  5. Enter the amount, add a note, and tap Pay.
