Cruise-in for Kids

Capital City Corvette Club hosted Cruise-in for Kids on May 24, 2017.  The event took place in the parking lot across from Neff Kindergarten Center in Grand Ledge.

This is a real family event with the children in attendance voting for their favorite rides. The awards for this event were custom embroidered ball caps donated by Jerry & Dominique Palacio, members of Capital City Corvette Club and owners of Embroidery from Photos, a custom embroidery business that does our club apparel and a lot of fun items.

During the events held in 2014 - 2016 we raised approximately $7,500 for Blessings in a Backpack, a program that provides weekend food survival backpacks to at-risk kids in the Grand Ledge School District during the school year.  The weather was rainy in 2017 and participation was way down, but we still managed to raise close to $2,000!

Cruise In for Kids was sponsored by Shaheen Chevrolet and Capital City Corvette Club.
